The key design requirements are for a system to travel up to 20m through a 24’’ header pipe and deploy a camera inspection system into the 12 adjacent 6’’ exchanger tubes.

Designed a custom solution for internal visual and ultrasonic (UT) inspection of the Liquid Burning Flue stack. Spectrum SP90 Pan, Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) Integration. UT Extension; Current UT cables are 30m long. 

The PowerTrain robotic crawler is the future of pipe inspection technology. With its compact design and ability to navigate tight bends and vertical pipe segments, it provides a reliable solution for asset owners to collect quality inspection data.

The VERTI-ROBOT is suitable for pipelines with diameters ranging from about 150 mm to 300 mm and a length and can be scaled up or down as needed while travelling up to approx.200m. The length of the cables depends on the diameter or the size of the robot, on the internal surfaces of the pipelines and on the number of pipe bends to be passed. Pipe bends of 1,5 x D, changes in the pipe’s cross section, slight deformations or sagging weld seams will be negotiated without any problems.

SAIR is a wireless magnetic crawler robot capable of conducting ultrasonic and visual inspection on various assets like tanks, vessels, pipes and elbows. Its unique and patented design makes it highly maneuverable on curved surfaces from 8” in diameter up to a flat plate. In addition, SAIR is equipped with gas sensors for detecting hazardous and flammable gases. Inspection of elevated pipes and hard to access locations has never been more convenient.
